I’ve always found that the best part of cruising is the excursions. Recently, I took a guided tour in Santorini that was absolutely breathtaking, especially the local wine tasting. I’d love to hear about your favorite excursions and any hidden gems you’ve discovered while cruising.
I totally get what you mean about the local wine tasting — i had a similar experience in Tuscany where our guide took us to a family-run vineyard… It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the personal touch and amazing views. Just be careful with time — some excursions can feel rushed, especially if you’re trying to hit multiple spots in one day.
I had an amazing sunset kayak tour in Phuket — the views were unreal! Have you tried any water sports on your trips?

I had an unforgettable experience on a cooking class in Taormina where we made local dishes using fresh ingredients. It really connected us to the culture in a way you don’t get from typical tours. Have you thought about trying a class like that, @tomLopez99?
I once did a local food tour in Lisbon that was incredible! The hidden gems were the little shops we found. Have you explored any food experiences on your cruises?
